Tell us about your training

I’m always training for fun not just because I got fight coming up but I just love it and can’t get enough. My training schedule changes depending if I fighting or not and responsibilities that I have at that time. But I always make sure that learning, improving everywhere by making sure I’m covering all areas such as Boxing, Thai Boxing, Wrestling, Grappling because skills is what makes you a better fighter not how far u can run or lift but the level of skill, so that’s the main thing I focus on the most.

When and why did you start training for fighting?

Since I was kid I’ve been interested in martial arts from watching Bruce lee films, Mike Tyson fight. So it’s something I always had a passion for, started doing judo and Jeet Kune Do at school for few months at 15years old till moved house. And as soon as I finished secondary school started training and competing in boxing, did very well in that and after that found a local MMA gym and loved it. I boxed so wanted to compete in MMA but the gym I was at didn’t have fighters at the time so decide to move to UTC Gym in Birmingham. Had my 1st Semi Pro MMA fight at Fight UK 2 November 2010 went on undefeated and eventually decide to turn Pro at Fight UK 4 June 2011.

Do you have any heroes?

As a kid I look up to Bruce lee and still I’m. But in general I would say I look to people who have worked hard to get where they are.

What is your favourite technique?

Kimura since it was the 1st grappling technique I learned and found it quite successful in my fights and of course in the gym. Every in the gym knows it’s coming but can’t stop it, it always there when I need it, kind like a backup plan. As for the striking I say the head kick or flying knee of course and it always looks good to.

What does it mean for you to fight for FIGHT UK?

It means a lot because it show how far I’m progressing for a show like them to keep me around, they do an awesome job in putting greats fights for the fan but most importantly to me they treat everyone fairly and constantly improving. It the reasons I’ve fought on all they show since my debut and look forward for many to come in the future.

What was your job before you started fighting?

Coaching at the gym and Bar Staff
